Wimbledon and London

Wimbledon is an upmarket residential neighbourhood in South London with lots of green spaces only 9 miles from central London, a quick 15 minute train journey.

Don't you just hate having to get in a car & drive when you run out of something?

Do you always end up being the designated driver?

Well relax; a short stroll away Wimbledon town centre  has all you'll need;

Enjoy fresh croissants for breakfast from the 2 French patisseries or a night out at one of the fab restaurants

There are lots of lovely restaurants including Wagamama a Japanese restaurant, Sticks N Sushi from Denmark, three steak restaurants, 1 Mexican restaurant, 1 Burrito restaurant, Five Guys Gourmet Burgers, 1 Italian restaurant. Quaint gastro pubs and the list goes on! Wimbledon is really a culinary delight. All within minimum 1 minute to maximum 10 minutes on foot.  You'll be spoiled for choice!

Feel like relaxing at home? Pop to one of the 4 supermarkets to buy steaks, homemade burgers and sausages then call at the wine store for a bottle of fine wine...it's all so easy! Or just don't cook at all...pop along to one of the great takeaways and have someone do all the work for you!

In the evenings one of the local pubs has live music several times a week. Or soak up the atmosphere in one of the lovely theatres.

Many of our guests enjoy being car-free whilst others welcome the fact they have free parking.

Not a fan of public services? No problem...flag down a taxi by the station or phone for one - or use Uber - you don't have to be tied to a car.

Wimbledon is the perfect place to holiday if you want access to nightlife and good restaurants, but prefer to leave the tourist prices behind.

If you do plan on hiring a car to experience the surrounding areas fully, then our properties are located within easy reach of some lovely local attractions outside London, such as Hampton Court and many of the pretty English villages.

Family friendly Thorpe Park and Chessington World of Adventures, trendy Richmond, (residence of Mick Jagger) are all within 10-20 minutes drive. Whilst nearby towns such as vibrant Brighton or laid back Bournmouth are easily reached on main roads.

We'll happily provide guidance to the best spots to visit, easy parking and even where you might try for lunch!
